You Work It, Sierra Sandison

If we had to pick of women crush of the week, it’d have to be Sierra Sandison, who was crowned Miss Idaho this past week.

Why are we obsessed? Sandison, who was diagnosed with Type I diabetes in 2012, decided to show that there’s no need to conform to societal beauty standards by wearing her insulin pump for the entire competition–including the bathing suit portion.

Sandison’s efforts have culminated in a Twitter hashtag, #showmeyourpump, which tells other women with similar conditions that it’s okay to wear their medical devices proudly.
