BuzzFeed’s Try Guys met their match with a class of Girls Who Code students. Each of the four guys was paired with a handful of girls whose goal was to teach them how to code. Through (sometimes lots) of trial and error the girls were able to teach the guys how to write out one line of code, proving that coding isn’t just a “man’s” job.
While the video itself is short, it highlights how nuanced coding can be.
Makers also states: “According to Girls Who Code, 74% of girls in middle school express interest in STEM, but when choosing a college major, only 0.4% of girls decide on computer science.”
It’s time we change that, right?
