This YouTuber Is Publishing a Book of LGBT Terminology and Distributing Free Copies to High Schools Everywhere

YouTuber Ashley Mardell is known for making videos about her life and the LGBTQ community. In a recent video, Mardell announced her upcoming book release that focuses on LGBTQ terms and definitions after reaching her goal of $20,000 on GoFundMe within five days after its posting. The book will be based off of her popular YouTube series “The ABC’s of LGBT.”

Mardell plans to tour schools as well as send free copies of the book to high schools’ Gay-Straight Alliance clubs across the country. Money that is left over will be given to Gender Spectrum—a nonprofit organization made to create a safe and inclusive environment for all genders.
