'Say Yes to the Dress' Features First Transgender Bride

This Friday’s episode of the popular TLC series Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta will feature its first transgender bride on the show this Friday, January 15th. Say Yes to the Dress is a reality show in which brides are assisted in the process of finding the perfect wedding dress for their big day. The bride being featured is Precious Davis, who will be marrying Myles Brady. Both Davis and Brady are transgender. This is a monumental moment for Say Yes to the Dress, as it allows transgender brides to be as feminine as cis-gender women in the public eye.

In a preview for the episode, Davis said that she and her husband to be are inviting over 1,000 people to the wedding, saying, “We want people to be inspired at what love can look like in its many forms.”
