A Mom Who Was Humiliated for Breastfeeding Is Fighting for Change

Another passenger on the plane insistently told the flight attendant that Thomson was “disgusting” and needed to cover up her breasts. After the woman caused quite the scene, the flight attendant ended up having to tell Thomson that she needed to cover up, even though her breasts were barely showing.

Since her rights were violated, Juliet is seeking legal action and is fighting to change the negativity associated with breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding is obviously still not “normalized” amongst our society. Women need to actively continue to fight the ridiculous social stigma that is placed on breastfeeding in public.
