This Catchy Pregnancy Announcement Will Make You Break Out into Song

A couple in Florida posted a parody of Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk to Facebook on January 10th to make their pregnancy announcement. Steffaney Bass’s video has been shared over 1,000 times and viewed over 100,000 times on Facebook since it was posted. She and her husband, Austin, rewrote the lyrics to the ultra-catchy tune to include the announcement and the details.

“This house was ice cold, no heater on a couple months ago,” she sings at one point. “So we had to get warm and stay warm. No fireplace!”

“Took the test, know what it said? Yes! Hot damn!” the couple sing together before announcing that they were going to be parents. The Basses have stated that they will likely make a new song when they reveal the sex of the baby.
