This Teen Isn’t Letting a Back Brace Stop Her From Feeling Strong and Confident

After getting into a car accident in November, Maddie Cable’s T12 vertebra was fractured and doctors stabilized her spine with rods and pins.

She learned that for at least six weeks, she would have to wear a back brace to fully recover. Instead of letting the situation get to her, the 17-year-old chose to respond with strength and a positive attitude.

With the help of some friends, Cable turned her back brace into a beautiful suit of armor. The artistic creation is inspiring and truly shows her strength inside and out.

You can find more information on Cable and her story here. She is a true shero, and her story is a reminder that in the face of adversities, we should always respond with strength.
