Revlon raised a little over $2.7 million through a crowdfunding campaign effort it launched at the end of September that ran through the month of October. The premise of the campaign was that Revlon’s “Love Is On” campaign served as an umbrella for women’s health organizations to fundraise individually.
Throughout the month, Revlon donated $1.4 million to various participating organizations and will now donate an additional $1 million to the organization that raised the most money for their cause. Participating organizations included Cycle for Survival, Teen Cancer America, Day for Girls International, and many more.
“Although founded back in 1932, Revlon is innovating like a millennial led tech startup with this recent campaign,” stated Forbes. The official winners of the Revlon “Love Is On” competition are yet to be announced, but a leader board on their page.
