Dozens of women and girls participated in this year’s International Women’s Day Google Doodle, from children to famous women like Jane Goodall and Malala Yousafzai.
The video, “#OneDayIWill,” produced for International Women’s Day, shared the goals and aspirations of women around the world. According to USA TODAY, “the Google Doodle team visited 13 countries and spoke to 337 women and girls about what they want to achieve in life.” In addition, women all over are tweeting, #OneDayIWill for #IWD along with pictures with the frame from the Google Doodle.
While women’s history month is celebrating the female pioneers of the past, this video celebrates the women of today and tomorrow. This year’s United Nations Theme for International Women’s Day is “Planet 50-50 by 2030: Step It Up for Gender Equality.”
