Meet the Young Women Dominating the World of Chess

Chess has always been considered a man’s sport, but these inspirational young ladies from Brooklyn are changing that. Intermediate School 318 is home to one of the best scholastic chess programs in the country, and even cooler, it’s helping many young women of color rise to the top of the chess rankings.
