Marvel Comics Is Launching Female Thor

Great news from the people at Marvel: The company is launching a new Thor comic book this coming October.

So, what makes this Thor extra noteworthy? This particular Thor is female.

What’s impressing us even more: The people at Marvel have been very outspoken about the fact that this isn’t “Lady Thor” or “Thorita”. Her name is just Thor, and she’s just as incredible as her male counterparts. She has the same name and the same kick-butt attitude, and we’re so happy to see that she’s exactly like the heroes before her.
