Author’s note: This article and video discuss sexual assault.
A Lithuania women’s rights organization, Moterays Kalba (Women Speak), created a video as a way to draw men’s attention to the reality of sexual assault. After asking for women’s stories through Facebook, they asked men to read them aloud—deceptively written on pieces of paper with childlike drawings.

This Bustle article delves deeper into the points made by the video as well as a few flaws in its overall work to have men connect on an emotional level to the reality of sexual assault.
