Lizzie Velasquez Tells Her Story in New Documentary ‘A Brave Heart’

Through a devastating search on YouTube, Lizzie Velasquez found a video that named her “The World’s Ugliest Woman.” Instead of letting it bring her down, she chose to rise above the hate, and she is now a role model for people all over the world.

A Brave Heart is a documentary that follows Velasquez and her journey in rising above bullying, and it select theatres on September 25th.
