In honor of Women’s History Month, YouTube has brought together strong women of the past and present in a video called “100 Years of Incredible Women.”
The video features “seven women who fought to have their voices heard, played by women who found their voice on YouTube.” International YouTube content creators like GloZell and JoutJout have joined together to remind us of the strides made throughout history by women like Amelida Earhart and Yoko Ono.
This video is part of a larger YouTube initiative to highlight and enable more female creators, something the video-sharing platform is making an effort to do more of in 2016.
Check out the video for a little inspiration from women who shared and continue to share their voices.
