Amy Poehler’s “She Said” Gives Young Women the Advice They Need

Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls is an organizatio dedicated to helping young people cultivate their authentic selves. The site is filled with interesting shows and provide a space for people to express themselves and share their weird, funny and unique selves.

Their newest show is called She Said, hosted by real-life fiancés Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher. In their first episode, they interview each other on periods, hygienic products and going to the gynecologist for the first time. It’s a safe space for where they each share their personal experiences with periods and pap smears in a body-positive dialogue. This four- minute video is a perfect way for younger women to learn about how unique each woman’s experience can be – while also being very similar!
