How Many Men in This Video Said They Were Feminists?

BuzzFeed recently interviewed on the streets of Los Angeles, asking men a simple question: Are you a feminist?

After several interviews, it was clear that men did not feel comfortable identifying as feminist. From believing that feminism was only for women to feeling like less of a man by identifying as a feminist, they all carried different reasons for their answers.

The sad reality is, however, most individuals don’t understand the true meaning of feminism. Along with the interviews, we hear from a UCLA professor at the Department of Gender Studies, Emma Watson, and several men who do identify as feminist.

This video is an interesting insight on how society views feminism, and I think it’s a must watch for everyone.
