Great News: #GIRLBOSS Will Be Made into a Netflix Series

The autobiography, which chronicles Amoruso’s rise from debt-ridden 20-something to NASTY GAL founder and executive chairman, is beloved by kickass ladies everywhere for its pithy, no-nonsense advice about how to really make it as a millennial. #GIRLBOSS was already more than a bestseller; the #GIRLBOSS Foundation, which launched in 2014, works to provide grants to entrepreneurial women working on creative projects, and the #GIRLBOSS podcast series showcases the advice and tales of some pretty successful ladies.

A TV series seems like the natural next step for this ever-expanding empire, and we can’t wait.

Variety reports that the series, a comedy, will draw from the book and focus on the funnier sides of Amoruso’s climb to success and fame. Kay Cannon, best known as write of Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2, will be the series’ showrunner, and the badass team of executive producers includes Charlize Theron. We can’t wait to hear who will play the #GIRLBOSS herself!
